Finally...

After 6 years of teaching piano lessons I finally have Carter as a student!

I've had his books for a while, but was just waiting for him to read well enough to get started and be able to practice and do theory on his own. So I added him on to my official schedule and he will now be my Tuesday 4:00-4:30 lesson. We got started tonight (because he was too excited to wait and I didn't want to waste that excitement!) and he did great! He was respectful and listened and even practiced for 10 minutes after the lesson.

Way to go Carter!!
