Kitchen Fun

The kitchen is certainly the heart of our home. All the kids love to help with anything they can. Cookies, popcorn, dinner, they do it all. Here are Anna and Ryan being silly in the kitchen.

This week our kitchen was used for our annual Christmas treats. We have made a tradition out of this Christmas popcorn mix. Everyone loves it and we have so much fun taking it to our friends and wishing them a Merry Christmas.
Here's the recipe, but be careful, it's addicting!
Holiday Popcorn
1 bag microwave popcorn (pick out kernals)
1-2 cups Corn Chex cereal
1-2 cups Pops cereal
1-2 cups mini twist pretzels
1 bag holiday M&Ms (you can make this for any holiday
by changing the color of M&Ms)
1 bag white chocolate chips
1 tbsp oil

Mix dry ingredients. Microwave white chocolate chips with oil for 30 seconds. Stir and microwave again for 30 more seconds. Stir, then pour over dry ingredients. Mix until all is coated, then spread out on wax paper until hardened. Enjoy!!
